In my work I have specialised in sounds. I explain and teach the effect of sounds, especially singing bowls, on the body and mind. I also show participants how they can use sound and the associated techniques of autogenic training, progressive muscle relaxation, the voice, breathing and the knowledge of energy medicine to do a lot of good for their own lives.

You are your method! Everyone has their own inner ways and preferences for doing something good for themselves or acting effectively in disharmonious situations, illness or major challenges. It is not for nothing that there are over 200 mental techniques. I am convinced that everyone can develop their own technique. Good and deep conversations, mental training and knowledge transfer provide the right tools.

I offer day retreats and longer retreats or workshops and can also come to you on request. Teams, managers, families and groups of friends have also had a lot of fun. I am flexible and come wherever you need me. Since 1989, I have been giving talks, holding salons, working with groups and organising special events, including with visual artists and musicians. I also invite people to my premises.

If you visit me on the island of Usedom, you can rent our small holiday flat if you book in good time or stay on the island at your choice to experience a jointly agreed programme. We can tailor the individual sessions to your needs, which can range from pure relaxation, burnout prevention, anxiety prevention, accompanying healing to recovery, strengthening and deepening of goals and plans. In this respect, it is possible to contact us for an extension of the group retreats for later individual sessions or days.

A singing bowl retreat is a unique experience in which integrative therapies such as sound therapy, autogenic training, progressive muscle relaxation, breathing and voice training, meditation and relaxation can be experienced, practised and, if desired, learnt together in the harmonious surroundings of our beautifully designed barn, the surrounding nature and silence.

In addition, I will give short talks explaining the causes and effects of the body and mind in connection with the techniques used, which you will be able to practise in quick succession and continue at home.

       Your preparation for a retreat

  • Preparing for a retreat is important to get the most out of your experience:

  • Create a positive mindset and an open attitude towards new experiences.

  • It is good if you are physically fit and healthy to be able to enjoy the activities of the retreat.

  • If you are not physically fit, the retreat can also help you a lot, but we need to clarify in advance what I can do for you!

  • Please pack very comfortable clothes, soft socks, a soft blanket and a meditation or yoga mat are also an advantage.

  • If you are joining us on the island of Usedom, please make sure that you bring your own food. If you are travelling by car, take whatever is good for you! Please take any medication or things that are important to you with you!

  • The time after your retreat is just as important. You can reflect on your experiences and integrate them into your day.

  • Reflection: Take time to think about the experiences of the retreat and process the insights.
